Stunning set of butterfly and frame! Unusual and VERY RARE Charaxes "leaf wing" from Western Kenya [Quite hard to get today!]. Mounted on frabric backing. The frame itself is VERY heavy solid wood and carved in a fancy Victorian style!

Species: Charaxes acuminatus stonehamiana [notice the pointed wingtips and decreased spots on hindwings, different than C. fulvescens...] repaired slightly, still in great shape!
