Compared to the rest of the body, this flower beetle's horn is considered one of the largest of it's kind! Hence the name Megalorrhina, or "giant horn", these guys also fly!  What a balancing act!  Like other flower beetles, the adults search the flowers and sap flows on forest trees. The African children like to play with them and tie sting to the horn and fly them like little remote control helicopters!  Set in a small decorative floral frame which compliments the speckled coloration of the beetle!
